Koala
Picovoice Koala noise suppression (KoalaFilter). Deferred in pipedog: not ported yet.
Deferred
Koala is deferred: it is possible, but it isn't ready to port.
Why. Picovoice has no Node build of Koala. There is only @picovoice/koala-web, for the browser, and every build needs an AccessKey.
What would unblock it. Deferred until Picovoice ships a Node or server-side WebAssembly build, or someone ports it on top of @picovoice/koala-web.
Sources: Koala for web.
What it is
Picovoice Koala noise suppression (KoalaFilter).
Upstream, it's this class: KoalaFilter, in
audio/filters/koala_filter.py.
Its pipedog package will be @pipedog/audio-koala-filter.
Get it ported
- Search the issues for a request, and upvote it with a reaction.
- If there's none, open a port request.
- Or port it yourself: the contributing guide explains how modules are ported, test by test. The porting status lists what's done.
Until then, see what is ported in Audio filters & mixers.
